Salary: £41,655 pa
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time (35 hours)
Line management: Senior Museums Learning Co-ordinator and Museum Learning Volunteers
Location: Central London with flexible working option.

RCS England Museums is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated and empathetic individual to develop, deliver and promote inspiring public and professional Museum engagement programmes, on site and online.
Background
The world-renowned Hunterian Museum, at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, re-opened in May 2023, following a six-year closure and a £4.7 million redevelopment. It attracts over 90,000 visitors each year. The College’s Anatomy and Pathology Museum is open, under the Human Tissue Act, to healthcare professionals and students only and attracts several thousand visitors each year.
About the role
You will lead on Hunterian Provocations and other public engagement initiatives, effectively managing resources to deliver a wide range of thought-provoking and inclusive talks, events, workshops and exhibitions.
You will lead on the external and internal promotion of RCS England Museums, the development of Museum audience engagement initiatives and oversee the development of the schools, community and formal learning programmes.
