Home Learners Takeover Day

Join the Hunterian Museum for a Home Learners afternoon. Enjoy storytelling, workshops, hands-on activities with other home learners.

Each family can book up to 4 tickets. Each attendee will need a ticket. This includes adults.

Suitable age: 5+ (under 16 must be accompanied by an adult)
 

Home schooling families are welcome to visit at any time (sign up online or at the door) as individuals or as part of a home education community or group.

This flexible and curiosity-led event combined with self-guided exploration and various workshops welcomes children of all ages and their families to explore science, medicine, and medical development. It’s also a great opportunity for socialising and networking with others!

Programme:

1-4pm Hunterian Museum open (trails available)

There will be a 15 minutes live demo in the Museum at 1.45pm,2.45pm, 3.45pm

2-2.40pm: Activity 1 (recommened age 8-12 years old) - max number of participants 25

3-3.40pm: Activity 2 (recommended age 13-15 years old) - max number of participants 25

4-4.30pm: Activity 3 (all ages welcome) - max number of participants 30
