Each family can book up to 4 tickets. Each attendee will need a ticket. This includes adults.
Suitable age: 5+ (under 16 must be accompanied by an adult)
Home learners and their families are welcome to visit at any time (sign up online or at the door) as individuals or as part of a home education community or group.
This flexible and curiosity-led event combined with self-guided exploration and various workshops welcomes children of all ages and their families to explore science, medicine, and medical development. It’s also a great opportunity for socialising and networking with others!
Programme:
10am-3pm: Hunterian Museum open (trails available)
10-10.30am: Arrival time
10.30am-12pm: Activity 1 (recommended age 6-12 years old) - max number of participants 25
12-12.45pm: Lunch break/ Museum trails
12:45pm: Live demo for approx. 20 min in the Museum in Room 1
1.15-2.45pm: Activity 2 (recommended age 11-15 years old) - max number of participants 25
2.45-3pm: Reflective moment in the foyer
Object handing will be taking place between 1.30-2.45pm in the foyer
