Home Learners Day

Join the Hunterian Museum for a Home Learners day. Enjoy trails, workshops, hands-on activities with other home learners and their family.

10am - 3pm pre-booking required. 

Each family can book up to 4 tickets. Each attendee will need a ticket. This includes adults.

Suitable age: 5+ (under 16 must be accompanied by an adult)
 

Home learners and their families are welcome to visit at any time between 10am and 3pm as individuals or as part of a home education community or group.

This flexible and curiosity-led event combined with self-guided exploration and various workshops welcomes children of all ages and their families to explore anatomy, medicine, and medical development. It’s also a great opportunity for socialising and networking with others!

Programme:

10am-3pm: Hunterian Museum open (trails available)

10-10.30am: Arrival time

10.30am-12pm: Activity 1: Anatomy discovery (all ages) - max number of participants 25

12-12.45pm: Lunch break/ Museum trails

12:45pm: Live demo for approx. 20 min in the Museum in Room 1

1.30-3pm: Activity 2: Infection control (recommended age 11-15 years old) - max number of participants 25
