SEND programme
It includes tailored school SEND workshops for pupils aged 14+, designed to support learning through hands‑on exploration and sensory-friendly approaches.
During school holidays, the museum also runs family activities for children with SEND, giving families opportunities to explore the collections together in a calm, supportive environment. To help visitors feel comfortable and confident during their visit, the museum provides a range of accessible resources, including a visual guide and sensory backpack filled with tools to enhance the museum experience.
